👋 Regan here! The founder of Revie.

How many times have you thought to yourself: “I wish I could do that”. Maybe apply to a new job, change a relationship, go on holiday? But something in the back of your mind stopped yourself for one reason or another?

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s not what you think.

It's not time. It's not money. It's not even your to-do list (though it really does seem to regenerate overnight). It's that quiet little voice asking "what if I'm wrong about what I even want." So you don't test it. You just stay where it's safe. Known. A little unsatisfying, but fine.

Practicality dictates that you don’t make changes. But I’d challenge that thought and say that it’s easier to stay still than possibly find out you’ve built a life you didn't actually want.

Every scary thing I've done, leaving my job, starting Revie, becoming a mom, all of it: none of that came from feeling sure. It came from trust. Trust in myself, some courage, and just knowing I had the skills to figure it out even without a real plan.

You don't need the whole plan either. You just need to trust you'll work it out.

This week we're getting into what's actually in your way, and what to do once you can see it. 👇

If knowing what to do was enough, we'd all be doing it already.

We’d all be super successful, fulfilled, energized, and excited about life.

But for many ambitious women, the gap between knowing and doing can feel really hard, especially when the decisions involve uncertainty, vulnerability, or pursuing something that genuinely lights us up.

The reasons behind that disconnect are often more nuanced than we think. Here's how to understand what's really holding you back, and how to start moving forward.

You know in your soul there’s something out there that you want to pursue, but life seems to keep getting in the way. Whether it’s motherhood needs, a career that feels safe but unfulfilling, social obligations that keep you busy, or something completely different… You tell yourself next week will be better, except it never is and the loop keeps you stuck.

Lauren will help you identify what is actually keeping you stuck, clarify what you reallyyyy want, and build an action plan that is simple and realistic. A win-win.

Before you go! Tell me, did this resonate with you? It can be so easy to hold our dreams on such a high pedestal that taking any action towards them feels uneasy. What do you think you need to take that first step?

I read every reply, and love to hear from you!

Until next time,

Regan (ree-gan)
